This Refund & Returns Policy is in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
- General Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 7 days of delivery for a refund, exchange, or credit, provided that:
- The item is unused and in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase is provided;
- The item is not excluded under “Non-Returnable Items” below.
Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied.
- Defective or Damaged Goods
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Notify us within 7 days of delivery at sales@iamautomation.co.za with your order number and photographs (if applicable).
- We will arrange collection and inspection of the item.
- Once approved, we will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund (including shipping costs).
- Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Perishable goods
- Personalised, custom-made, or digital items
- Items that have been used or altered after delivery
- Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after inspection.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used via PayFast.
Please note that banking or gateway processing times may vary.
- Exchanges
Where stock is available, exchanges will be processed once the returned product is received and inspected.
